There are people. You meet them only briefly, but they stay with you for years. Again and again they come into your memory and you have no explainable reason for it.

That's how it was for me with Amber. That's why she was the right person for me to start my first portrait project.

Amber is just great, with her positive and charisma she almost knocks you over. She is an actress, singer, model and much more.

Her parents brought they’re whole household into a container.

They travelled on a ferry to meet they’re belongings that followed, stored into this huge container, on German ground. 

This memory stuck with amber and led her to choose a location in the industrial harbour in Neuss where you see the containers stacked in the background of the portrait. 

I would like to thank the photographer Maxim Miller for the great cooperation and realisation.

In the context of this project, I would like to introduce you to people I have met and who have fascinated and inspired me. In order to capture the personality and special charisma of these people, I leave it up to them to decide in which environment this should take place. 

For this project I have made a costume that will accompany this series as a fixed component.
